Tasting - "Rubus Rosado Prieto Picudo, 2013"

Rubus Rosado Prieto Picudo, 2013
Variety: Prieto Picudo
Region: Tierra De Leon
Country: Spain
Year: 2013
Price: $3.95
Wine Critic Review: Bright clean strawberry rose color. In the nose it is intense and fresh, with strawberry aromas and slight citric hints. In the mouth it is fresh, strong and tasty, emphasizing a delightful tingle due to its carbonic residuals.
My Review: This wine was terrible. It was exactly what I paid for. I thought I was going to get a cheap wine, but didn’t think it would be this cheap. It is the same price as some of the better wines I have had at Trader Joe’s, but this was nothing like it. It tasted exactly like the boxed wine of Franzia. It has really fruity but with a strong taste of alcohol. It seemed like it was grape juice barely mixed with straight alcohol that did not have time to mix together. Some of the worst wine I have had.
Food: We did not have it with food.
